SGH Medical Pharma wins the Ecovadis Gold medal

This year, SGH Medical Pharma decided to be assessed by Ecovadis, which measures corporate social responsibility (CSR) performance. After achieving a Platinum score in 2022, SGH Medical Pharma received a Gold medal this year. Why the difference? Has SGH’s CSR performance declined?

Not at all! The group simply decided to be assessed as an overall entity (i.e. for its four sites combined) rather than individually, site by site, since we felt this was more consistent with our new vision for the future of our group. As a result, SGH Medical Pharma moved from the Small Size Company to the Medium Size Company category. Since the requirements and expectations are no longer the same, the scores are also quite different.

Certainly, with a score of 77/100 compared with an average for the sector of 45/100, our CSR performance was praised. Further evidence is provided by the renewal of our Lucie 26000 label and ISO 14001 certification.
