Reporting to the Workshop Manager and the 2*8 Team Leaders, your main task will be to make the necessary adjustments to start up production in accordance with the Quality, Safety and Environmental Instructions, internal regulations and procedures defined by the company.
Your main duties will be to:
- Assemble and dismantle moulds
- Ensure correct operation in terms of productivity and quality
- Carry out adjustments and/or make adjustments in response to any deviations observed
- Start up or restart production
- Carry out visual and metrological quality checks at the start of each production order and at shift change, as required by the departments
- Respond to machine alarms and requests for assistance from operators or the Quality Department
- Maintain the general condition of all equipment
- Collect instructions from the previous shift and ensure they are passed on to the next setter
- Complete the necessary documentation at each start, during and at the end of production
- Writing reports
- Manage internal retraining
- Perform occasional substitutions as part of a team
Required profile
- Education: Vocational baccalaureate in plastics processing or equivalent through work experience
- Technical skills:
- Knowledge of 1st level machine/mould maintenance and experience on Arburg, Engel, Haitian presses and Wittmann robots desirable
- Good knowledge of IT tools
- Key attributes: Analytical skills, thoroughness, manual dexterity, responsiveness, organisational skills and the ability to work as part of a team
